The new Supfina Fact tape finishing attachment is particularly small and compact, ideal for use in revolver lathes. In addition, the surface qualities that can be achieved are much higher than those achieved with standard turning. This means that even the highest surface requirements will be fulfilled. Furthermore, the new development eliminates a separate external or in-house grinding process. The drive for the oscillation and the tape feed is provided via a central drive from the revolver of the lathe. Flushing via the revolver to the pressure roller means that no additional connections for media are required. The adaptation to different revolver systems is possible. Our special gear allows oscillation shutdown for twist-free machining. With the Supfina Fact, machining on very hard materials and coatings with diamond superfinishing tape is also possible.
