Founded in Portugal in 1978, FREZITE focused in its early years on the production of precision tools for the wood machining markets as well as the plastic processing industry with its composite materials.

With a persistent philosophy of developing and manufacturing tools with the highest quality in a competent team, the company reached already in the beginning of the nineties the goal of a worldwide presence that allowed to build up and expand the infrastructure in all main markets through experience and competence in close cooperation with its partners.

With a strong growth due to the rapid development of the automotive and aeronautical industries, it was inevitable to have additional partners for their volume as well as global competitiveness. With more than 30 years of experience in the production of precision tools, the group of companies was excellently positioned and created the label FMT - TOOLING SYSTEMS, a production and development center with the focus to offer know-how and support of precision tools for the metal cutting industry. Today FMT produces and supplies all precision tools according to the current state of the art, using the most modern manufacturing technologies with the guidance of our experts.

All tooling systems are specifically designed to improve our customers' production efficiency in order to maintain and strengthen their global competitiveness. With the group's objective of establishing independent centers of excellence, the company can now look back on an internationally strong production base.

With the production site in Germany, the company also owns a state-of-the-art production plant that additionally specializes in the development of complex machining tasks in project management and ultra-fine machining of high-precision bores. Furthermore, the Germany site has a separate repair line for PCD and CBN tools.
