Nürtingen // As of early February, the company previously known as Nagel Maschinen- und Werkzeugfabrik GmbH, based in Nürtingen, now operates under the name Nagel Technologies GmbH.

The renaming marks a strategic step to reflect the diversity of the company’s current orientation. “The term ‘Maschinen- und Werkzeugfabrik’ no longer reflects our wide-ranging portfolio. Nagel is no longer solely associated with machines and tools for the traditional technologies of honing and superfinishing. Today, we also offer advanced robotic solutions, automation technology, laser coating systems, and a broad range of services for a variety of applications,” explains Managing Director Bernd Nagel.

A future-oriented corporate strategy

The new name, Nagel Technologies GmbH, emphasizes the company’s international focus and signals its ongoing commitment to technological advancement. “We do not want to be defined by individual products or services. Instead, we aim to provide our customers with integrated, innovative solutions across various fields—such as coated brake discs. With our expertise in digitalization, automation, and artificial intelligence, we are taking a significant step into the future,” says Managing Director Dr. Claus-Ulrich Lott.
Nagel is represented by sister companies on every continent and has been active in global markets for decades.
