As they move from successful test procedures to stable mass production, manufacturers of diamond tools face new challenges. It is no longer simply a matter of producing a reliable brazed joint. Rather, production processes must deliver consistently high results regardless of operating personnel, materials, tool geometries and batch sizes. Reliable process control and monitoring are therefore crucial to ensuring consistent product quality whilst simultaneously increasing production capacity.

At the trade fair, Pin Power demonstrated how its proprietary vacuum brazing technology contributes to cleaner and more consistent manufacturing processes. The PP series systems enable flux-free joining under controlled vacuum conditions. This reduces the cleaning effort required after the brazing process, whilst simultaneously improving precision, repeatability and process stability.
