Seminar: ‘Modern Grinding Technology and Precision Machining’
Every two years, the KSF organises the grinding seminar ‘Modern Grinding Technology and Precision Machining’. This event is one of the largest in the field of grinding technology.
The next seminar will take place on 12 May 2027. At this event, numerous speakers from Germany and abroad will present the latest findings and insights relating to grinding technology and ultra-precision machining.
Previous seminars have attracted large numbers of interested attendees, making this seminar one of the largest of its kind in the world and establishing it as a key platform for exchange between industry and research. In addition to the presentations on offer, numerous companies take the opportunity to exhibit and showcase their products and processes.
The 16th seminar will feature presentations on the following topics
- the latest developments in grinding technology and precision machining (honing, lapping and double-sided grinding)
- Innovations in grinding and dressing tools
- Advances in measurement technology and process automation
- The use of artificial intelligence in grinding technology
- Optimisation of machines, processes, coolant lubrication and clamping systems
- New developments in CNC grinding machines
