Agathon grinding centres for indexable inserts can be operated consistently and intuitively and have a wide range of options for different grinding and dressing processes, for different clamping systems, for measuring technology and for process control.
The combined process of laser pre-machining and grinding enables the most efficient machining of super hard materials to date, which means impressive time savings in workpiece production. The two-stage process makes sense: with the laser, you prepare the material optimally in order to finally produce to final dimensions on the grinding machine.
